The problem here is that it shouldn't be asking you for a password at all -- it should use the one stored in prefs. FWIW, I can't replicate this on OS X. Do you see this consistently on all OSes?

no, just on linux. of course, before air2 was released for linux i couldn't run spaz at all. win has an SSL popup w/ the save passwd option, as well. maybe something in the general cfg tab that would handle SSL (only seems to be a problem w/ DMs)

oddest thing is that it allows the dm to be sent even when i don't enter anything in the popup form

All handling of SSL is done within AIR; it's not even touch-able from
my code. There shouldn't even be a popup appearing if you've entered
your info correctly under Prefs >> Accounts. Are you behind some kind of proxy or firewall?

i'm behind a linksys router on dsl. no proxy or hard firewall & using dhcp. windows shouldn't have a popup either?
no firewall that i know of on *nix. however, i use nod32 on windows 7 + windows firewall. it's a pretty vanilla OEM install.
i could try the app on a different pc or stable kernel.

- State changed from new to resolved
So I don't think this is an issue anymore, especially with out new accounts system.
