Prefs UI – Open Prefs folder not opening Filebrowser

this is a tough one. It relies on the default web browser being able
to intercept and redirect "file://" urls to the native file browser.
It works in some cases, not in others. Probably it would be better to
pop up something where the user can copy and paste the file path to
the preferences folder. -

Hey, but the "load from file" Button under Theme in the preferences Tab is working good.

That does indeed work, yes. File operations aren't a problem; invoking

Nope. Trust me, I've explored this. 8) It doesn't let me open the
native file browser (Like Finder or Windows Explorer or Nautilus).
Building my own file browser isn't going to be feasible or reasonable. -

hu, "If you call openWithDefaultApplication on a directory, it will open in your default file explorer application (Finder, Windows Explorer, Nautilus, and so on)."
