Assigned to Tender issue #28. As reported in Tender:

It would be great if there was a way to mute certain tweets from people you follow but who for some reason or other don't quite know when to shut-up. We can keep them from appearing in our timelines without unfollowing them. A few of the apps for iphone have that capability.

    Could this not be accomplished using the Filter feature somehow? Might require augmenting it, but that seems the most intuitive way given the current UI and feature set.
